There were a few key themes we wanted to emphasize in this design. The first was New York City pride—naturally reflected in our playful nod to the iconic “I ❤️ NY” logo. We also wanted to carry forward the western motifs established by the previous designer to maintain a sense of continuity within the event’s branding.

Using the brand’s existing typography and color palette, I gave the design a playful twist: the heart tilts as it runs off in cowboy boots and a hat, being lassoed back by a bright green rope—a fun fusion of NYC attitude and western flair.
Once the design was approved, I rendered it in Adobe Illustrator and prepared print ready files.
I created 3 versions of the design for different shirt colors.
